Position Overview: We're looking for a detail-oriented, proactive Procurement Specialist to manage the sourcing, purchasing, and timely delivery of materials and services for construction projects. You'll play a key role in keeping operations on track and within budget. This role requires close coordination with vendors and internal teams, strong negotiation skills, and clear communication to anticipate and prevent supply issues. Key Responsibilities: Source and purchase materials, equipment, and services for construction and roofing projects. Negotiate with vendors and suppliers to secure competitive pricing and favorable terms. Coordinate delivery timelines to meet project schedules. Monitor budgets and track procurement costs. Maintain accurate records of purchases, deliveries, and invoices. Communicate with operations and sales teams to align procurement with project needs. Identify and resolve supply chain bottlenecks proactively. Qualifications: 2+ years of experience in procurement, logistics, or supply chain coordination. Strong proficiency in Microsoft Excel. Excellent communication and negotiation skills in English. Self-starter who can operate independently and manage deadlines. Nice-to-Haves: Bilingual in English and Spanish. Background in construction or the roofing industry. Familiarity with North American material suppliers. Experience with QuickBooks and AccuLynx or similar platforms is helpful, but trainable, strong candidates can quickly learn these tools if needed.
