Hiring Department The Thompson Center for Autism & Neurodevelopment Job Description The Thompson Center for Autism & Neurodevelopment is pleased to announce the opening of a Licensed Psychotherapist position. This full-time role involves client assessments and psychotherapeutic services for patients and their families, with flexible work hours options. Key Responsibilities: Provide individual and group psychotherapeutic services for children and families. Assess ongoing therapeutic needs and recommend programming to leadership. Pilot and implement clinical workflow initiatives. Assist with training clinical students as needed. Collaborate closely with interdisciplinary clinical teams and support staff. Document patient care appropriately, timely, and in accordance with policies. Applicants must be authorized to work in the U.S. without university sponsorship for visas. Shift Monday - Friday, 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. Minimum Qualifications Master's degree in social work, mental health nursing, counseling education, psychology, or related field, or equivalent experience. Missouri licensure as a Clinical Social Worker, Psychologist, Professional Counselor, or Certified Clinical Specialist in Mental Health Nursing. One year of clinical therapeutic experience in a medical setting. (Note: For some positions, three years of experience may substitute for licensure, with at least one year post-master's.) Preferred Qualifications Master's degree in relevant fields or equivalent experience.
