About the Position We are seeking a highly qualified and experienced IB DP Economics & IB DP Business Management Teacher to join our dynamic faculty. The ideal candidate is passionate about fostering critical thinking, real-world application, and ethical decision-making while inspiring students to explore global economic and business challenges. Key Responsibilities Plan and deliver engaging, rigorous, and inquiry-based IB DP Economics and IB DP Business Management lessons in accordance with IB curriculum standards. Differentiate instruction to meet diverse learning needs and foster academic growth. Use varied teaching strategies, technology, and real-world case studies to enhance student understanding and engagement. Assess student progress through formative and summative assessments , providing timely feedback to students and parents. Guide students in the completion of Internal Assessments (IA) and prepare them for External IB Examinations . Collaborate with colleagues to develop interdisciplinary units , aligning with CIEDI’s IB and STEM approach . Promote entrepreneurial, ethical, and socially responsible thinking in business and economic contexts. Maintain accurate records of student attendance, grades, and progress reports. Participate in professional development to stay updated with IB best practices and innovations in business and economic education. Must-Have Requirements: Minimum of 3 years of experience teaching IB DP Economics and Business Management. Professional teaching certification or a degree in a related field (Economics, Business, or Education). Proficiency in English at a minimum C1 level . Strong understanding of the IB DP curriculum framework and assessment requirements . Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to engage students, colleagues, and parents effectively. Ability to work collaboratively in a team-oriented environment. Commitment to ongoing professional development and educational growth. Desired but Not Excluding Requirements: IB DP Programme-specific training in both subjects. Recent experience working in an IB Continuum School . Familiarity with inquiry-based learning and interdisciplinary teaching approaches . Ability to integrate technology and real-world applications into lesson planning.
