You'll serve as a thought partner and content expert to case teams, topic/sector leaders & external clients, helping structure and solve complex issues.Our Role Expectations AreWorking with case / proposal teams by providing analysis to drive insight into specific client issuesGetting staffed on cases and working from client-site or BCG office for a duration of couple of monthsManaging and processing industry focus analysis requests, and assisting consultants with industry specific problemsInteracting with local teams and use an extensive collection of internal and external information resources to gather, filter, synthesize, package and deliver insights to case teams and clientsConducting in-depth analysis on financial performance of financial institutions, and demonstrate strong business analytics capabilitiesWorking on cases and content pieces with special focus on Banking/FI space and SSA market specific expertise, including industry trends, local and regional competitive landscape, financial sector market sizing across various segments/products, local and global regulatory developments such as Basel III/IV, fintech regulation, among others.Guide and provide inputs to client/team members leading to successful execution of strategy on above topics.You are good atWorking with case (and proposal) teamsIdentify & address critical topical knowledge & expertise for cases & solve client problems, with guidance from senior team members, Partners/MDPs & case teamsParticipate in client calls and workshops and eventually co-lead modules leveraging own knowledge, proprietary data assets and deploying specific methodologiesProvide customized knowledge for client work, prepare accurate, well-developed documents and chartsCreate reports on new trends and regulatory developments highlighting overall impact on SSA Financial InstitutionsIdentify key performance indicators for players in the Financial Institutions ecosystem and analyze data to generate insightsSupport client proposals by compiling data and relevant information, providing research, topic input to the proposal teamWorking with topic & sector teamsThe SA will work closely with the local BCG FI leadership in SSA to own and drive performance benchmarks for industry and playersCollaborates & maintains the development of new knowledge through participation in knowledge development projects, database, surveys, tools, etc.Promotes innovation at BCG by identifying knowledge capture opportunities - Develops best practice material on various SSA banking topics to be used by teams or shared with clientsContributes to building sector/topic/ teams and suggests emerging topics based on client demand & BCG's global workDevelops additional proprietary knowledge for the Firm like creation of databases, supporting whitepapers and internal knowledge documents#ta #bcgcareers #bcglifeWhat You'll Bring2+ years of consulting experience in Banking; strong understanding of the financial institutions landscape in Latin America, along with deep knowledge of local and international financial regulationsIn lieu of consulting experience, 3+ years minimum industry experience required; 4-6+ years of industry experience strongly preferredFluency in English and Spanish, effective written and verbal communicationStrong analytical skills along with strong financial acumenAbility to multi-task & operate effectively, independently, proactively & curiously, in a matrix organization in a fast-paced environmentOutstanding interpersonal and communication skills to interact with internal and external stakeholder while working in a global collaborative team environment.Who You'll Work WithAs a Senior Analyst - BCG Vantage, you will collaborate with topic leads and colleagues across BCG to bring expertise and capabilities to the service of our internal and external clients.
