Top Talent Wanted for Data Engineering Role We are seeking a skilled Senior Data Engineer to join our team in the financial sector. Main tasks and responsibilities include: - Collaborating with stakeholders to understand business needs and designing optimal solutions. - Leading strategic prototyping workshops to develop and implement effective data-driven strategies. - Developing and implementing self-service BI solutions, including ETL approaches and data sources. - Driving reporting efficiencies through streamlined processes and training programs. - Acting as a Power BI product evangelist to promote awareness and adoption of the platform. - Contributing to the Power Platform centre of excellence to create governance structures and implementation plans. - Being a change ambassador, open to collaboration and creative problem-solving. Requirements: - Highly skilled in data analysis, data modeling, and ETL processes. - +10 years experience as a Data Engineer. - Expertise in SQL with experience in performance tuning and dealing with large data volumes. - Good understanding of enterprise big data architectures. - Extensive experience in developing reporting and analytics solutions using Azure Synapse, Azure SQL Database, and PowerBI. - Knowledge of Azure platform, including Data Lakes, Data Warehouse, and Azure Data Factory. - Experience with Power Automate and Power Apps. - Understanding of security model designs within the data estate. - Good English level (C1) for international collaboration. Desirable Qualifications: - Experience in building reporting governance frameworks and driving adoption. - Experience with SAFe working practices. - Experience consuming data using APIs, Snowflake, databases, and file formats. - Understanding of Data Quality approaches like shift left.
