Piso 21, BARRANQUILLA, ATLÁNTICO Shift days, hours and time zone: Monday to Friday 8 - 5 EST Weekly hours of work: 40 Salary: $3,300,000 COP Job description: The HR Specialist supports recruitment and hiring, manages employee relations, and administers compensation and benefits programs. Additionally, this role involves identifying training needs, implementing company policies, and ensuring compliance with labor laws. The HR Specialist may also assist with performance management and succession planning. Responsibilities: Recruiting and Hiring: Assisting with job postings, screening resumes, and conducting interviews. Working with hiring managers to identify needs and find suitable candidates. Onboarding new employees, ensuring they have the necessary resources and information. Employee Relations: Handling employee inquiries, concerns, and grievances. Mediating workplace conflicts and ensuring a positive work environment. Implementing and enforcing company policies and procedures. Compensation and Benefits: Assisting with the administration of compensation and benefits programs. Ensuring compliance with relevant regulations and policies. Training and Development: Identifying training needs and developing training programs. Facilitating training sessions and evaluating their effectiveness. Compliance: Ensuring compliance with labor laws and regulations. Maintaining accurate records and documentation. Other HR Functions: May assist with performance management, succession planning, and employee recognition programs. May be involved in exit interviews and processing termination paperwork. Skills and qualifications - Hard and soft skills: Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, Psychology, or a related field. Professional certifications in HR (e.g., SHRM-CP, PHR) are advantageous. At least 1-2 years of experience in human resources or a related field. Skills: Knowledge of HR best practices and relevant laws and regulations. Strong communication and interpersonal skills. Ability to handle sensitive and confidential information. Proficiency in HR software and tools. Strong problem-solving and conflict resolution skills. Excellent organizational and multitasking abilities.
