Lead Maintenance Executive: We are seeking a seasoned professional to oversee our expansive portfolio of single-family homes, ensuring seamless day-to-day maintenance operations across multiple U.S. markets. This is a fully remote leadership role where you will be responsible for vendor performance, operational efficiency, and resident satisfaction. The ideal candidate will have deep knowledge of property maintenance, strong troubleshooting skills, and experience managing distributed teams. Key Responsibilities: - Remote diagnostics: Conduct thorough analyses of complex repair issues using resident interviews, photos/videos, and IoT data. - Team leadership: Manage and mentor two Maintenance Coordinators and one Assistant Maintenance Manager. - Vendor expansion: Identify, vet, and onboard maintenance vendors in underserved markets. - Quality control: Monitor work order KPIs including cycle times, callback rates, and satisfaction scores. - Budget management: Oversee the maintenance P&L.; - Escalation handling: Act as the escalation point for high-priority issues. - Process improvement: Develop and implement SOPs and tech-based solutions to streamline operations. Requirements: - 5+ years in a senior maintenance leadership role in residential property management. - Experience managing maintenance operations remotely and leading distributed teams. - Deep technical knowledge of HVAC, electrical, plumbing, roofing, and structural systems in single-family homes. - Proven ability to troubleshoot issues over the phone and develop accurate remote estimates. - Strong budget ownership track record with ability to reduce costs while preserving quality. Preferred Qualifications: - Prior experience with single-family rental portfolios in the U.S. market. - Familiarity with IoT-based maintenance monitoring or diagnostics.
