We are seeking a talented and motivated Lead Data Integration Engineer to join our team. In this role, you will oversee the development, optimization, and implementation of data integration solutions that enable efficient data exchange across systems. You will collaborate with a variety of teams, lead key technical efforts, and ensure the reliability, scalability, and security of data integration processes. Responsibilities Design and deliver robust data integration solutions to enable seamless interaction between different systems Develop and maintain efficient data pipelines to facilitate data transformation and transfer Partner with cross-functional teams to collect requirements and define integration strategies Optimize and oversee data integration workflows to enhance scalability and performance Troubleshoot and resolve issues with data flows while ensuring data accuracy and consistency Provide leadership and mentorship to engineering teams to ensure project success Create and enforce guidelines and best practices for data transformation and integration Implement security measures to protect sensitive information during data integration activities Conduct code reviews to maintain high standards and consistency in deliverables Research and adopt emerging technologies to enhance integration capabilities Requirements A Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related technical field, or equivalent hands-on experience At least 5 years of practical experience in Data Integration A minimum of one year of experience in a leadership role, including managing and mentoring teams Comprehensive understanding of SDLC methodologies and experience applying them to software development projects Expertise in creating and implementing data integration frameworks, including ETL processes and real-time data streaming Strong experience working in Agile environments and delivering projects through Agile methodologies Advanced knowledge of SQL for querying, transforming, and analyzing data in relational databases Familiarity with NoSQL databases and their application in managing unstructured or semi-structured data Hands-on experience in implementing CI/CD pipelines to automate data integration workflows Fluency in English (written and spoken) at a B2 level or higher Nice to have Experience using Python for scripting and automating data-related tasks Familiarity with cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or GCP for deploying and managing integration solutions We offer International projects with top brands Work with global teams of highly skilled, diverse peers Healthcare benefits Employee financial programs Paid time off and sick leave Upskilling, reskilling and certification courses Unlimited access to the LinkedIn Learning library and 22,000+ courses Global career opportunities Volunteer and community involvement opportunities EPAM Employee Groups Award-winning culture recognized by Glassdoor, Newsweek and LinkedIn Seniority level Seniority level Mid-Senior level Employment type Employment type Full-time Job function Job function Engineering, Information Technology, and Business Development Industries Software Development, IT Services and IT Consulting, and Technology, Information and Internet Referrals increase your chances of interviewing at EPAM Systems by 2x Get notified about new Data Engineer jobs in Colombia .
