They develop and implement payroll systems, address payroll issues, and collaborate with HR, finance, and external partners to ensure smooth operations. **Responsibilities**_:_** - **Payroll Processing**: - Manage the preparation and distribution of payroll for all RDC employees**.**: - Ensure accurate calculations of salaries, overtime, bonuses, deductions, pension, vacation and other payroll concepts. - Oversee year-end processing. - **Compliance**: - Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local payroll laws and regulations. - Stay updated on changes in tax laws and labor regulations that impact payroll. - Handle audits (Internal and external) related to payroll operations; ensuring adequate and effective internal controls are in place. - Maintain and improve payroll systems and software. - Collaborate with IT to resolve system issues and implement updates. - **Team Leadership**: - Supervise and train internal payroll staff. - Delegate tasks and ensure quality control. - Ensure sufficient coverage by cross-training staff and generate back up capacity. - **Reporting**: - Prepare reports on payroll metrics for management, including costs, trends, and errors. - Reconcile payroll accounts and coordinate with finance for audits. - Assist during forecasting and budgeting process as needed. - **Problem-Solving**: - Address payroll discrepancies and employee inquiries. - Investigate and resolve payroll errors swiftly. **Qualifications**: - **Education**: - Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, or a related field. - **Experience**: - 5+ years of payroll experience, with at least 2 years in a leadership role. - Familiarity with various payroll software. - Experience in global payroll processing (North America, Caribbean and Latam). - **Skills**: - Strong knowledge of payroll processes, labor laws, and tax regulations. - Proficiency in Excel and financial software. - Advanced English proficiency; knowledge of Portuguese language a plus. - Exceptional attention to detail and analytical skills. - Excellent communication and leadership abilities. **Preferred Qualifications**: - Experience working in Shared Services Center (SSC) or Regional Delivery Center (RDC). - Experience in global payroll processing. **Working Conditions**: - Office-based, with occasional overtime during payroll deadlines or audits. - Requires maintaining confidentiality and discretion due to sensitive employee data.
