Project Engineer Role This is a senior-level position that oversees engineering activities aligned with project objectives, responsible for leading cross-functional teams and ensuring successful project delivery. Key Responsibilities: - Direct all phases of programs from inception through completion. - Oversee and coordinate administrative and operational aspects of ongoing projects within program guidelines. - Liaise between project management, planning, project teams, and line management to ensure effective collaboration and communication. - Prepare proposals, business plans, proposal work statements, and specifications, operating budgets, and financial terms and conditions of contract. - Review project and budget status, manage schedules, and prepare reports to stakeholders. - Monitor and assess project issues, develop resolutions to meet productivity, quality, and customer-satisfaction goals and objectives. - Represent the organization as the primary customer contact for projects. - Direct the work of employees assigned on projects in technical, manufacturing, and administrative areas. - Establish design concepts, criteria, and engineering efforts for product development, integration, and test. - Responsible for procurement of appropriate development hardware used for testing and development. - Meet program schedules and budgets, provide input to the integrated master schedule for project(s). Requirements: - Typically requires a degree in Science, Technology, Engineering, or Mathematics (STEM) and minimum 2 years of prior relevant experience or an Advanced Degree in a related field. - Demonstrated professional or educational experience communicating in English and Spanish (verbal and written). - U.S. citizenship is required, as only U.S. citizens are authorized to access information under this program/contract.
