Job Summary: The Quality Assurance Specialist is responsible for implementing, monitoring, and ensuring compliance with Quality Standards at the plant. This role delivers training and executes methodologies to ensure the consistent production of safe and effective products. The specialist manages the Quality Audit Program, ensures adherence to regulatory and company standards, and leads initiatives to identify and drive continuous improvement, reduce process variation, and minimize material losses. Responsibilities: - Implement, monitor, and maintain the Quality Plan for the plant, taking corrective actions when necessary. - Ensure all processes comply with global formula specifications and Key Performance Indicator (KPI) targets. - Deliver training on quality standards and methodologies to plant staff. - Utilize Cp/CpKs and other statistical tools to monitor and ensure ongoing process quality. - Support the development of formula, packaging, and equipment projects to align with quality requirements (including EMO's, Change Controls, Validations, etc.). - Manage and execute the Quality Audit Program, participating in local and on-shelf quality audits. - Track and facilitate the closure of audit observations using audit software, providing periodic progress updates to the plant manager. - Work closely with the Global Technical Center (GTC), as the plant authority, to maintain and improve quality standards. - Continuously identify and implement improvement opportunities to optimize processes and reduce waste, with a focus on maintaining microbiology indicators (such as AML) and minimizing material loss. Required Qualifications: - Bachelor's degree in Chemical Engineering or a related field. - Minimum of 3 years of experience in a production plant environment. - Proficient in SAP and Google Suite applications. - English language proficiency at B2 level. Desired Qualifications: - Experience in managing quality audit programs and regulatory compliance. - Strong analytical skills with experience using statistical process control (Cp/CpK, etc.). - Proven ability to lead and implement continuous improvement initiatives. - Effective communication and training delivery skills. - Experience in consumer goods or manufacturing industries is a plus.
