Purpose The position is responsible for supporting and developing the operationalization of mechanisms of record and monitoring relevant measures, metrics, Key Performance Indicators (KPI), Key Risk Indicators (KRI), and Quality Indicators (QI) for Global Banking and Markets Internal Control (GBMIC). Role requires demonstrated technical and data infrastructure knowledge, that can quickly respond to ongoing requirements, maintenance activities, and ad:hoc requests to produce reports for Management and Executives Accountabilities - Design, develop and implement information storage tools to optimize and standardize data. Integrate and unify the process of collecting sources, ensuring the quality and integrity of the data. - Support the PLSQLs and ETLs to operationalize Key Performance Indicators (KPI), Key Risk Indicators (KRI) and Quality Indicators (QI) which support the tactical and strategic needs of our diverse business partners. - Maintains monthly and ad:hoc reporting tools, including reports and dashboards, to share behavior and information with stakeholders which provide value added insight and actionable recommendations for business partners. - Create predictive models through machine learning with the aim of anticipating risks and refining decision:making. - Generate value proposals and innovation initiatives that allow strategic decisions to be made from the use of data and promote a culture of curiosity. - Contributes/Creates an environment in which he/she pursues effective and efficient operations of his/her respective areas, while ensuring the adequacy, adherence to and effectiveness of day:to:day business controls to meet obligations with respect to operational risk, regulatory compliance risk, AML/ATF risk and conduct risk, including but not limited to responsibilities under the Operational Risk Management Framework, Regulatory Compliance Risk Management Framework, AML/ATF Global Handbook and the Guidelines for Business Conduct. - Other duties as assigned. Reporting Relationships Primary Manager: - Manager, MIS GBM Internal Control Dimensions To assist and support Communication Surveillance team with all MIS requirements at the operational, and support levels. This role will support Global Banking and Markets and International Banking. Education / Experience - B1+ English Level - 2+ years of experience in handling large and complex data sets to support analytical processes. - 2+ years of experience in visualization and/or reporting tools such as Power BI, Tableau, SAS, Cognos, Qlik Sense, or similar. - Bachelor's degree in computer science, Engineering, Information Technology, Mathematics or related sciences. Functional Competencies: - Strong and in:depth knowledge of Database. - Excellent analytical and problem:solving skills - Logical thinking to address software development problems - Working knowledge and experience with SQL and PLSQL and least one of the following of scripting languages such as VBA, C, R and Python. - Knowledge of data science concepts and approaches or business intelligence. - Thorough knowledge of GBM regulations, is an asset.
