Position: Signals Software Engineer 2 Support a mission-critical team in designing and coding new software, modifying existing software to add features, and developing algorithms to meet system performance and standards. Responsibilities: Analyze user requirements to derive software design and performance requirements Design, code, and modify software to add features Debug software and correct defects Describe signal processing techniques and digital modulation methods Integrate software into new or existing systems Recommend improvements for documentation and development processes Develop and implement algorithms for system standards Assist in testing and documentation Develop software solutions in collaboration with engineers Analyze system flow, data usage, and work processes Investigate and resolve problems Modify software for errors, hardware adaptation, or performance Design and develop software using scientific analysis and models Lead software development teams ensuring adherence to processes Design complex signal processing algorithms with strict constraints Perform quality control Use languages such as C++, Java, and others as needed Maintain an advanced understanding of Linux OS Collaborate with system engineers to derive requirements and understand project limitations Develop and maintain data processing software frameworks Identify issues in RF processing systems and related architectures Qualifications: Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field; equivalent experience may be substituted Minimum of 7 years' experience as a SSWE or similar, especially with RF, Fourier transforms, filtering, digital modulation, and signal analysis tools Security Clearance: Active clearance with polygraph required Salary Range: $173,000 - $235,000 Note: Compensation is guided by various factors including experience, education, and skills.
