Flightitinerary (About the role) We are seeking an Engineering Managerwith a solid background as a developer who can engage withengineers on a technical level. This role is about representing theSoftware Engineers in the assigned teams, as well as leading anddeveloping them to perform in a fun and complex environment. It’sabout filling people with a sense of duty as well as sparkinginterest to improve our intricate systems. You will encourageengineers to come up with bold ideas as well as maintain vigilantsupervision to safeguard project integrity. What Your Journey WillLook Like (Responsibilities) Team Leadership and Development: -Lead, mentor, and develop two high-performing teams of engineers,fostering a culture of innovation, learning, and accountability. -Provide coaching and career development support, helping engineersgrow their technical skills and achieve professional goals. -Conduct regular 1:1s, performance reviews, and team meetings toprovide guidance and foster an open, inclusive team environment. Technical Strategy and Execution: - Collaborate with ProductManagement, Design, and other stakeholders to define theengineering roadmap, setting clear priorities and goals. - Driveproject planning and execution, ensuring the team delivershigh-quality work on time and within scope. - Maintain a deepunderstanding of the technical stack and guide the team in makingtechnical decisions that align with long-term company objectives. Technical Leadership and Guidance: - Act as a technical advisor,assisting team members with complex problems and providingtechnical direction on projects. - Collaborate with and facilitateIC collaboration with architects and senior engineers to ensuresolutions are scalable, robust, and adhere to the company’stechnical standards. - Stay up-to-date on emerging technologies andindustry trends to support ongoing innovation and ensurecompetitive advantage. Stakeholder Collaboration: - Work closelywith cross-functional teams (Product, Design, QA, and Operations)to align technical deliverables with business objectives. -Communicate effectively with stakeholders, providing updates onproject progress, risks, and mitigation strategies. - Ensureengineering team efforts are well-coordinated with overall producttimelines, deadlines, and organizational priorities. What to packfor this trip (Qualifications) - Bachelor’s degree in ComputerScience, Engineering, or a related field. - Advanced degrees orcertifications in Engineering, Management, or related fields are aplus. - 5+ years of engineering experience with a proven trackrecord of delivering scalable software solutions. - 2+ years in amanagement or leadership role, with experience in team building,coaching, and developing engineers. - Demonstrated experience inproject management, resource planning, and leading cross-functionalengineering teams. - A desire to continuously deliver customervalue. - Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with theability to work effectively with technical and non-technicalstakeholders. - Strong problem-solving skills, with a proactiveapproach to identifying and resolving issues. - A people-firstmentality with a passion for team building, mentorship, andfostering a positive work culture. - Fluency and proficiency inboth Spanish and English. Technical Skills - Strong knowledge ofsoftware development methodologies (Agile, Scrum, Kanban) andengineering best practices. - Proficiency in one or moreprogramming languages in the . Net Development Stack. - Experiencewith cloud technologies (e.g., AWS, Azure, Google Cloud) and moderndevelopment tools (CI/CD, version control, automated testing).
