Purpose To monitor, analyze, and respond to IT security-related events, design and implement security controls in the IT environment, participate in IT security assessments, and resolve IT security problems to ensure the continuity and efficiency of the IT infrastructure. This role aims to meet organizational requirements to protect confidentiality, integrity, availability, and privacy. Areas of Responsibility / Tasks Performance must reflect appropriate expertise and achievement of desired results for the following tasks: - Ensuring built-in security during the development stages of software systems, networks, and data centers. - Monitoring hardware and software for vulnerabilities and risks. - Constantly monitoring security events, incidents, and intrusions to identify breaches promptly and communicate them to the IT team. - Responding to potential threats or breaches by addressing security vulnerabilities. - Analyzing IT specifications to assess security risks. - Designing and implementing security-related controls. - Serving as a security expert and conducting training when needed. - Drafting policies and guidelines. - Participating in audits, risk assessments, and relevant activities. - Proactively investigating the IT environment to propose timely improvements. - Liaising with vendors to implement security solutions. - Staying informed about developments in the security field to maintain expertise and provide up-to-date services. Minimum Qualifications / Education / Experience / Certifications - Ability to prioritize projects effectively. - Drive to stay current with the latest security threats and solutions. - Experience with a variety of security products, including firewalls, virus protection, and information security tools. - Fluency in English. - Well-organized with the ability to analyze IT security problems quickly. - Good communication skills. - Understanding of best security practices and how to implement them organization-wide. - Enjoy working in a multicultural team. - Minimum of a Bachelor's degree in ICT or equivalent experience (>5 years).
