Role Overview The Senior Editor is a key member of our publishing team, responsible for developing and executing editorial strategies that drive impact and engagement across various platforms. This role requires a deep understanding of global business trends, exceptional editorial skills, and the ability to rapidly absorb complex ideas and distill them into accessible content for diverse audiences. Main Responsibilities - Collaborate with authors and stakeholders to develop persuasive storylines and write compelling drafts covering business topics, including strategy and corporate finance. - Manage editorial publications and programs, coordinating with relevant teams and stakeholders to ensure projects are completed on time and meet high-quality standards. - Act as a thought partner and service provider, working with senior consultants and industry experts to create publishing strategies that advance firm objectives. - Develop and implement effective editing processes to ensure consistency of voice, tone, style, and alignment with firm guidelines. - Lead projects independently or in collaboration with designated teams, staying up-to-date on business news and trends to inform communications. Requirements and Qualifications - 10+ years of experience in business writing and editing, including digital publishing, preferably for an English-language business publication or professional-services firm. - Deep understanding of global business trends and detailed knowledge of strategy and corporate finance. - Excellent editorial skills, judgment, and business literacy, with the ability to distill complex ideas into accessible content for global audiences. - Strong communication and problem-solving skills, with the ability to work independently in a low-structure environment and handle multiple projects simultaneously. - Proficiency and fluency in verbal and written English, with other language skills a plus.
