About the Role: The 3D Production Artist’s responsibilities include: - Providing 3D models of characters, objects, and environments based on conceptual designs and visual references from briefs or direction documents. - Collaborate with other departments to ensure that 3D art is properly integrated into the game. - Optimise 3D models for use in video games. - Collaborating with other project team members, and facilitating and maintaining constructive lines of communication and workflows at all times. - Maintaining accurate and up-to-date records and documentation to ensure effective monitoring of projects. **Requirements**: - Studies in Digital Arts, 3D Graphic Design emphasis, Animation or a related career. - Demonstrable experience in creating 3D models for video games. - An updated portfolio to review - At least a year of demonstrable experience. - Proven capability working with 3D modelling tools and software, such as Autodesk Maya, Zbrush, and/or Cinema 4D. - A minimum B2 English level. - Proven capability working with 3D texturing tools and software, such as Substance Painter, Marmoset or similar. - Excellent ability to work in a team and communicate with other departments. - Ability to work in an environment, with multiple tasks and projects simultaneously. - Advanced-level knowledge of 3D model integration techniques for use in game engines. - Proven capability working with contemporary game engines (especially Unity). - A developed understanding of (and appreciation for) video games as a creative medium.
