Position Overview: We are seeking a detail-oriented and proactive People Ops Analyst to join our dynamic HR team. This role will support various HR functions, particularly in managing employee benefits and administrative taks in Colombia, by analyzing data, generating reports, and assisting in the implementation of people initiatives. Key Responsibilities: - Benefits Administration: Manage the enrollment process for legally required employee benefits in Colombia, ensuring compliance with local regulations. Oversee the administration of additional company-sponsored benefits, ensuring clear communication and understanding among employees in Colombia. - Legal Collaboration: Collaborate with legal and HR teams to ensure all benefits programs meet necessary legal standards and requirements. - Employee Support: Provide guidance to employees regarding their benefits package options, including enrollment processes and eligibility criteria. Support the organization of events and initiatives aimed at promoting employee benefits and well-being. - Payroll Support: Review and verify employee documentation related to payroll, ensuring accuracy and compliance with local regulations. Assist in the preparation and processing of the payroll, ensuring all employee information is accurately captured and reported along with contract amendments and other supporting documentation Follow up on social security affiliations with the payroll provider to ensure compliance and resolve any discrepancies. Support payroll auditing processes - Data Analysis & Reporting: Collect, analyze, and interpret HR-related data to provide insights on employee benefits, performance, engagement, and turnover trends. Update and maintain HR systems with employee data and all benefits Conduct regular audits and reviews of benefits programs to ensure compliance and effectiveness. Process Improvement: Assist in identifying opportunities to improve HR processes and systems, contributing to increased efficiency and effectiveness. - Project Assistance: Assist in developing and implementing new benefits initiatives tailored to meet employee needs. Support the onboarding and offboarding and orientation process for new hires, ensuring timely completion of necessary documentation and benefits enrollments in our internal systems. The Ideal Candidate: A minimum of 5 years of experience in HR or administrative roles. Proficient in software tools such as Excel, Google Sheets, and SmartSheet, with the ability to create charts and spreadsheets. Exceptional communication skills are a must, with fluency in both English and Spanish. You should be able to convey information clearly and effectively to diverse audiences, ensuring understanding and engagement across the team. Excellent attention to detail and knowledge of HR best practices. Strong passion for building positive employee relations and a collaborative work environment. Ability to adapt to a fast-paced, international work environment with a focus on making an impact. A proactive mindset with a commitment to continuous improvement and efficiency.
