Position: Senior Data Engineer We are looking for a Senior Data Engineer to work closely with one of our main clients in the financial sector. Key responsibilities include: Collaborating with business and technology stakeholders to understand needs and design data-driven solutions. Leading prototyping workshops to clarify objectives and collaborating across teams to implement solutions. Understanding and differentiating approaches for self-service and corporate BI solutions, including data sources and ETL processes. Driving reporting efficiencies, training Power BI report designers and consumers, and sharing best practices. Acting as a Power BI evangelist, staying updated on technology trends, and assessing use cases and alternatives. Contributing to the Power Platform center of excellence, establishing governance, and evaluating adoption and satisfaction. Collaborating creatively across all levels as a change ambassador. Candidate Requirements: Over 10 years of experience as a Data Engineer. Expertise in SQL, performance tuning, and handling large data volumes. Strong understanding of enterprise big data architectures and reporting solutions like Azure Synapse, Azure SQL Database, SSAS. Knowledge of Azure platform components including Data Lakes, Data Warehouse, Data Factory. Experience with Power Platform solutions (Power Automate, Power Apps) and Power BI. Familiarity with the Software Development Lifecycle, Azure DevOps, and Visual Studio (SSDT). Understanding of data security models and good English proficiency (C1). Preferred Skills: Experience in reporting governance and organizational adoption. Knowledge of SAFe practices. Experience with data interfaces like APIs, Snowflake, and various file formats.
