Aprio is a progressive, fast-growing firm looking for a Quality Assurance Analyst, Enterprise Data Services to join their dynamic team. Position Responsibilities Validate Power BI dashboards, including the semantic layer, DAX statements, and result consistency. Test stored procedures, ADF pipelines, database structures & relationships. Validate Microsoft Fabric objects & pipelines, ensuring correct data movement and integrity. Evaluate, design, recommend, implement, and oversee automated test tools and strategies. Design, develop, implement, maintain and execute: test plans, test cases, and test scripts to ensure product quality. automated test scripts and architectures. regression testing every time changes are made. Conduct manual and automated testing of: Power BI dashboards. Data objects in relational as well as NoSQL databases. Data pipelines, ETL/ELT. Perform API testing using tools such as Postman, SoapUI or Rest Assured. Inform team about resources required for testing. Identify, document and report defects, defining severity and priority for each and tracking them through to resolution using Azure DevOps or ClickUp. Work with developers to improve code coverage, addressing gaps, data inconsistencies, and performance bottlenecks, ensuring existing tests cover appropriate cases and are constructed/implemented correctly. Define and document testing processes and procedures. Collaborate with development team to ensure that products meet quality standards. Communicate test results and status updates to project stakeholders and leadership. Continuously improve testing practices and techniques. Participate in product design reviews to provide input on functional requirements, product designs, and potential problems. Participate in agile events such as stand-ups, acceptance criteria definition, and SDLC/STLC stages to provide input on functional requirements. Qualifications Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or related field. Minimum of 3 years of experience in software testing, with a focus on data testing. Up-to-date knowledge of software test design, testing methodologies, tools, and techniques. Experience with: testing for data-centric projects, especially BI/Analytics and data management programs. testing data objects in both relational and NoSQL databases. Microsoft Fabric. MS Azure data services. Azure DevOps. Strong analytical skills and attention to detail. Excellent written and verbal communication skills. Ability to work independently and with a team in a fast-paced environment. Knowledge of Agile development methodologies is a plus.
