Job Description The Software Engineer performs a wide range of duties including some or all the following: Prepares and integrates Actimize solutions Enhance existing solutions to match client requirements by configuring and customizing software using Actimize software, SQL / PostgreSQL and other technologies Determines technical feasibility by evaluating requirements and analysis as well as proposed solutions Tests and troubleshoots software solutions, configurations and customizations Provides information by collecting, analyzing, and summarizing development and service issues. Utilizes software engineering tools such as configuration management systems, build processes, and debuggers in the software development process Performs technical root cause analysis and outlines corrective action for given problems Ability to create databases, objects views and indexes, write and run queries to inspect data in the database. Ability to write XSD to define XOB model. If API integration is planned, there may be a need to understand requests and responses, in a JSON format. Ability to interact with a REST API. Ability to understand and diagnose any problems encountered. Apply a sense of urgency, commitment and focus on the right priorities in developing technical solutions in a timely fashion C# language is needed to implement Actimize software application. Qualifications Databases: MS SQL and PostgreSql Operating systems: Windows and Linux Web App servers: Tomcat or WebSphere AWS/Kubernetes/Container experience is a plus Excellent communication and problem solving skills Pro-active approach to projects and problem solving Proficiency in use of the IDE.
