At Roca Alliances, we are currently looking for a Engineer Oracle Fusion Cloud Applications role for one of our clients in the tech industry. This role is on-site in Medellín, Colombia. (We offer a relocation stipend for candidates based elsewhere in LATAM). As an Engineer for Oracle Fusion Cloud Applications (SaaS) you will be assisting with the design, development, and implementation of Oracle Fusion Cloud Application solutions and other corporate systems. You will work closely with the BIS product team to ensure the successful delivery of high-quality solutions that meet business requirements and enhance operational efficiency. Responsibilities: - Design, develop, and implement Oracle Fusion Cloud Applications (ERP, SCM, HCM). - Create technical specifications and design documents. - Integrate Oracle Fusion Cloud with other systems. - Ensure scalability, performance, and security of applications. - Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues. - Stay updated on the latest Oracle Fusion Cloud technologies. - Conduct code/peer reviews and enforce best practices. - Collaborate with product teams to analyze business requirements. - Participate in project planning, estimation, and risk management. - Provide technical support for other corporate systems. Skills: - Strong problem-solving skills and proactive attitude. - Expertise in Oracle Fusion Cloud Applications (ERP, SCM, HCM) functionality. - Strong understanding of security, integration, reporting, configuration, and extensibility. - Experience with UI modification tools for Oracle Fusion. - Knowledge of databases, BI reports (RTF, eText, OTBI), and BI Cloud Connector. - Familiarity with flexfields, personalizations, BPM, and configurations. - Business acumen in processes like Order to Cash, Billing, Financials, and Tax. - Proficiency in SOAP, REST web services, SQL, PL/SQL, and Java. - Experience with ITIL, DevOps, CI/CD, Agile, and Scrum. - Oracle Fusion Cloud certifications are a plus. - Familiarity with corporate systems, DevOps, and code repositories. Experience - 3 to 5 years of experience as an Engineer or similar role in Oracle Fusion Cloud Applications (ERP/SCM/HCM). - Completion of at least one full implementation of Oracle Fusion Cloud Applications (ERP/SCM/HCM) in a technical role. - 1+ year of experience with Oracle PaaS solutions: Oracle Integration Cloud, Oracle Process Automation, and/or Visual Builder Cloud Service. - Experience working with Oracle & other 3rd party vendors to resolve production support cases/issues. - Experience with data management, reporting solutions, and preparation of technical reports by collecting, analyzing, and summarizing information and trends. - Experience with REST API, SOAP, Web Services, Application Composer, Page Composer, and Page Configurator. Communications/Leadership - Excellent written and verbal communication skills. - Strong communication and interpersonal skills. - Ability to work effectively in a team-oriented environment. Education/Technology - Minimum bachelor’s degree or equivalent in Computer Sciences & Engineering, Information Technology, or related Engineering field.
