Job Description General Summary The Motion Designer has a wide range of responsibilities, including creating compelling motion graphics/animations for our video content from animated title treatments, transition animations, end-cards, and more. The position requires frequently shifting focus, tasks, and responsibilities while working on multiple projects. The candidate must have a level head, be a clear and quick thinker, and have the ability to transfer information to teammates. An in-depth understanding of creating content for social media platforms (Facebook, Instagram, Tik Tok, etc.) is essential. The ability to find solutions to quickly turn around projects is expected, along with a high degree of accuracy, creativity, and professionalism. Responsibilities English B2 or higher Experience with video editing for social media content Experience working with hotels, restaurants, etc. (lifestyle/hospitality) 2D and 3D animation across all verticals (broadcast, OOH, web, and experiential projects) is a plus. Create compelling motion graphics/animations for our video content from animated title treatments, transition animations, end-cards, and more. Static design ideation to get buy-in on creative before animating. Collaborate with other motion designers to execute brand creative materials. Enthusiastically partner with peers and internal clients to ensure work meets creative and strategic standards appropriate to target audiences and brand. Support Motion Designers and Creative Directors on day-to-day projects and responsibilities within brand graphics packages. Participate in creative brainstorms and team meetings. Showcase a strong storytelling ability across multiple formats and channels. Qualifications Candidate Requirements 3-6 years of motion design experience at a design shop, tech company, ad agency, or similar. Strong sense of typography, layouts, and visual aesthetics Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite, particularly After Effects, Photoshop, and Illustrator, with working knowledge of editing software like Premiere, Final Cut, AVID, etc. Working knowledge of After Effects Mogrt template creation. Current with motion design trends and practices. Current with social media platforms and trends. Solid understanding of file structure and project workflow. Comfortable troubleshooting basic IT and technical issues as they arise. Passionate, driven, proactive, curious, with the ability to thrive in a dynamic, fast-paced, high-expectation environment. Strong sense of priorities with the ability to manage multiple asks/tasks.
