Desired Skills & Qualifications: - 3+ years of hands-on experience in strategic sourcing, vendor management, or procurement operations - Proven track record managing international suppliers (preferably across LATAM, Asia, or US) - Strong understanding of procurement processes: RFQ, RFP, PO, contracts, incoterms, and logistics coordination - Experience with procurement/sourcing platforms (e.g. Alibaba, Thomasnet, GlobalSources, or similar) - Familiarity with ERP systems (e.g., NetSuite, SAP, Odoo) and procurement tools - Comfortable working with spreadsheets, dashboards, and procurement analytics (Excel/Google Sheets, Airtable, etc.) - Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English (Spanish/Portuguese is a strong plus) - Skilled negotiator: cost reduction, terms, lead times, and quality guarantees - Experience vetting, onboarding, and managing supplier relationships long-term - Highly autonomous and proactive — takes ownership of outcomes, not just tasks - Experience with AI tools or automation in procurement workflows How you will create Value: - Lead supplier sourcing on platforms like Alibaba, 1688, Made-in-China, etc. - Secure and compare quotes, negotiate pricing, and analyze landed cost implications - Work closely with our Supply Chain Lead and COO on tooling needs and AI automation - Drive vendor savings through relationship-building and strategy - Identify and vet new suppliers for ingredients, packaging, freight, and manufacturing - Support cross-functional projects (e.g., B2B sales, vendor audits, warehouse expansion - Negotiate favorable terms with both new and current suppliers to support cost savings and improved performance. - Identify, evaluate, and rate new suppliers for inventory expansion based on quality, reliability, and pricing competitiveness. - Coordinate product sampling and arrange lab testing prior to issuing purchase orders to ensure compliance and quality. - Issue and manage purchase orders (POs) with accuracy and adherence to procurement timelines. - Maintain cost accuracy and integrity across all vendor records and procurement systems. - Monitor commodity prices, supplier market trends, and competitor sourcing strategies to guide purchasing decisions. - Conduct in-depth spend analysis and review supplier contract terms to identify opportunities for improvement or risk mitigation.
