This contract position is based in LATAM Who Are We: We're a bunch of gym lovers who got tired of an industry that takes itself too seriously. What You'll Do: Payroll & Compliance: Process bi-monthly payroll efficiently and accurately for a globally remote team using Rippling. Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local tax regulations, including managing multi-state tax filings and registrations. Administer payroll deductions, garnishments, and benefits contributions. Address payroll discrepancies and respond to employee inquiries promptly. HR Systems & Process Improvement: Optimize and enhance HRIS functionality to improve efficiency and accuracy in payroll and HR operations. Maintain accurate employee records, payroll data, and compliance documentation within Rippling. Support onboarding and offboarding processes to ensure a seamless employee experience. Compliance & HR Administration: Manage workers’ compensation claims, reporting, and audits, ensuring proper classification of employees across multiple states. Stay up to date with evolving labor laws and HR compliance requirements across different regions. Assist with HR policy updates, including employee handbooks and labor law postings. Generate reports and track HR/payroll metrics to support decision-making. What We're Looking For: 3+ years of experience in payroll processing and HR administration for a remote or multi-state workforce as well as working with international and external contractors. Proficiency in Rippling (HRIS) or a similar payroll/HR platform, with experience optimizing HR systems. Strong knowledge of multi-state payroll tax laws and compliance requirements. Excellent attention to detail, organization, and confidentiality when handling sensitive HR and payroll data.
