At Source Meridian , we’re looking for a senior technologist to take on the role of Solution Architect , capable of leading from both a technical and product perspective. As a Solution Architect, you’ll design and evolve our integration architecture, translate business needs into user stories, and guide an Agile team through successful sprints. You’ll work hands-on with Node.js microservices on AWS (Lambda & ECS) while mentoring developers and ensuring all deliverables meet functional and non-functional requirements . Must-Have Qualifications 8+ years in software engineering, with 3+ years in solution or integration architecture Experience leading Agile teams or as a Scrum Master Deep knowledge of AWS services: Lambda, ECS (Fargate/EC2), API Gateway, EventBridge, IAM Familiarity with distributed systems: pub/sub, async messaging, retries, idempotency Skilled in creating architecture documentation (C4, sequence diagrams, ADRs) Advanced English communication skills Experience with TypeScript or Python Familiarity with domain-driven design and event sourcing Exposure to CI/CD tools (GitHub Actions, CodePipeline), and IaC (CDK, Terraform) Experience in data integration, ETL, or streaming (e.g., Kinesis, Kafka) CRM integration knowledge Ability to extend and refine a cloud-native integration architecture (event-driven, micro-services, APIs) Proficiency in producing high-level solution diagrams, sequence flows, and data contracts Work closely with product & business stakeholders to define epics, user stories, and acceptance criteria Ensure scalability, security, and observability considerations are incorporated early Technical Leadership Review PRs, enforce coding standards, and guide developers on technical decisions Facilitate backlog refinement, sprint planning, and daily stand-ups Track sprint metrics and remove blockers to maintain team velocity Prototype complex integrations in Node.js Develop reference implementations and infrastructure-as-code templates (AWS CDK, Terraform) Quality & DevOps Champion test automation, CI/CD, and blue/green deployments in ECS & Lambda Communicate architectural decisions clearly in advanced English to both technical and non-technical stakeholders What We Offer Work remotely from anywhere in Colombia or Ecuador A culture of continuous learning and innovation Exposure to high-impact healthcare projects Competitive compensation package focused on well-being Interested or know someone who might be?
