What will you do - Support daily import and export operations for NOLA region (Colombia and Puerto Rico), from cargo availability until the delivery at destination. - Ensure that all Stryker importing and exporting sites comply with established procedures and relevant trade regulations, and that gaps are escalated, addressed and resolved. - Manage freight forwarders and Customs brokers’ activities and performance and ensure that trade controls are properly maintained. - Maintain the OEA (Authorized Economic Operator) certification with Customs in Colombia and other relevant authorities. - Create and maintain metrics for Trade, including but not limited to On-Time Delivery, Carrier and Broker’s Performance, Cost to clear, Average Duty rate, Speed to clear, Landed costs and PPV. Ensure service providers and Trade team achieves defined targets. - Accountable for the filing and maintenance of all applicable trade related registrations, permits, and government reporting, in accordance with Stryker specifications and local applicable regulations. Responsible for the accuracy and completeness of business records. - Provide guidance on trade issues. - Advise business leaders of potential business ramifications of changing regulations and political/regulatory environment related to international trade. - Drive continuous improvement initiatives to identify opportunities to improve cost, quality and service. What will you need Required: - BA/BS degree in Business, International Trade or related discipline. - 5+ years related experience in an international trade related area. - Strong knowledge in AEO requirements, maintenance and recertification. - Advanced English skills. Preferred: - Master’s degree and Licensed Customs Broker or Certified Customs specialist are highly preferred. - Knowledge in MS Excel and Power BI.
