We arelooking for a Site Manager to lead the operations of the ColombianPacific Site, efficiently managing the reception, transportation,storage, production and distribution of materials, as well asdevelop and implement operational improvement plans, ensuringcompliance with safety standards, productivity and qualityincluding cost targets of the operation. The position reports toSupply Chain Manager Andean Region and will be based in Yotoco -Valle del Cauca, Colombia. Responsibilities - Ensure compliancewith Ethics and HESQ policies on site operations; as well as,promote a Yara's value living culture. - Responsible for budgetcontrol of the site and proper management of resources, aiming tooptimize operations and reduce costs per ton. - Lead and drivecontinuous improvement initiatives in the frame of LEAN and YaraOperations Standards. - Liase with Planning department in order tomeet market demand on time and at lowest logistic costs. -Guarantee smooth operations in ports and optimum day-to-dayoperations on site. - Guarantee maintenance and good asset careprocedures. - Management and control of contractors and partnersinvolved in site operations. - Maintain inventory accuracy and goodstorage practices. - Management and supervision of all areas of theplant, warehouse management (production, maintenance, inventory andquality control). Profile Education: - Professional in Engineeringor Administrative careers, with Specialization in Logistics,Administrative or related areas. Work Experience: - 5 years andtrack record in Supply Chain and Operations positions. - 5 years ofexperience leading teams. Knowledge and skills: - Fluent spoken andwritten English. - Supply Chain planning, sourcing, siteoperations. - Leadership and communication: create alignment andimpact across the organization. - Budget management. - Analyticalthinking. - Team oriented and proactive. - Adaptability /Flexibility.
