We are seeking a compassionate Community Paediatric Care Assistant to join our team in Andover, supporting the lives of children and young people with dignity and independence. As a Community Paediatric Care Assistant, your role will be multifaceted: - Personal care and support: assisting daily routines for optimal comfort and wellbeing - Challenging behaviour support: managing behaviours with empathy and understanding - Community access: facilitating engagement in local community activities - Promoting independence: encouraging confidence and autonomy - Medication support: safe administration of medication - Specialist clinical care: supporting complex needs, including ventilation, tracheostomy care, enteral feeding, nebuliser treatment and seizure management To be successful in this role, you will possess: - At least 6 months of professional care experience (or personal care experience in the UK) - Confidence in supporting individuals with limited mobility - A valid driving licence and access to a reliable vehicle - The right to work in the UK - Registration: Applicants in Scotland, Wales, or Northern Ireland will require the relevant registration (e.g., SSSC, SCW, NISSC).
