We are actively searching for a senior operations leader to manage our KSA office, maintain client interface and business development function as well as undertake project management and lead of maritime engineering and commercial projects. This position will be a blend of administrative, outward client facing and project delivery roles and it is envisaged that a team of locally based project managers and key delivery experts will be built around the position. The general manager will oversee all aspects of the engineering consultancy operations in Saudi Arabia, ensuring strategic growth, operational efficiency, and compliance with local regulations. Cashflow: Ensure payment and cashflow are maintained to support operations. **Business Development:** Stakeholder Relationships: Establish and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders. New Contracts: Drive business development initiatives to secure new contracts. **Customer Relationship Management:** Customer Satisfaction: Ensure high levels of customer satisfaction. Issue Resolution: Address and resolve customer issues promptly. Qualifications: - Bachelor's degree in civil/Structural, Mechanical, Geotechnical engineering; - 5+ years of experience in Maritime / Waterfront Structural Engineering Design, Project Management, Business Development (preferred); - Knowledge of regional/local client pool and relationships to aid business development; - Registration with the Saudi Council of Engineers; - Saudi National (required); - Fluent in speaking and writing Arabic (Required); - Excellent Communication skills (Verbal, written and presentation). Working Conditions: This role takes place mostly in an office environment. Ability to work flexible hours (across multiple time zones) and travel as required. Physical Requirements: Sedentary for prolonged periods, interacting with clients and occasional travel.
