You make the difference. - ** Your Role **:In charge of ensuring the proper functioning of Daily Operations in the LCC, managing and coordinating the roles of personnel, systems and operations. - ** Your Responsibilities**: - Supervise the work of the logistics Team Leaders in a multi-client shared services environment. - Resolve problems related to transportation, logistics systems, imports/exports and customer issues. - Collaborate with other departments to integrate logistics operations with business systems or processes, such as purchasing, business management, finance, continuous improvement, etc. - Maintain metrics, reports, process documentation and training records related to managed customers and direct employees. - Manage inbound and outbound logistics operations, such as transportation and warehouse activities, process adherence, logistics performance and quality. - Supervise staff to ensure compliance with optimal transportation modes, routes, equipment and frequencies. - Actively plan and participate in quality audits, both internal and external, related to clients and employees. - Proactively plan and implement improvements to internal or external logistics systems or processes. - Have knowledge of efficiency and productivity programs (such as 4DX) and be able to lead efforts in cost and process improvements using prescriptive methods. - Work with appropriate parties to create and maintain operating procedures for logistics activities, including statements of work and working instructions. - Manage cost components such as overtime for non-exempt staff. - Present applicable operational metrics, project updates and other information to clients as required. - Execute business continuity plans when necessary. - Establish and monitor specific supply chain-based performance measurement systems, both customer and staff related. - Implement specific customer requirements related to operations as needed. - Recruit, hire and train operational staff based on the requirements of the organization and the client. - Manage staff performance and development, using related software and company review policy. - Constantly measure productivity and staffing levels to ensure maximum efficiency with minimized costs. **Your Skills and Experiences**: - Bachelors University degree in International Business or related careers. - Experience within the 4PL model. - Customer relationship management. - Advanced English skills. **Good Reasons to Join **:At Kuehne+Nagel, we are committed to matching that excitement with a company culture that puts people first.
