We’re looking for a QA Automation Engineer with strong experience in Databricks and a solid background in automation testing to join our growing QA team. This role is a hybrid between QA, data analytics, and database optimization. If you're passionate about data, automation, and working with cutting-edge tools in a fast-paced environment, we want to hear from you. **Key Responsibilities**: - Develop and maintain automated tests using **Python and Selenium** - Perform **data analysis** and ensure the integrity of data pipelines and models - Work extensively with **Databricks**, contributing to data model validation and optimization - Collaborate with consultants and development teams to help design and validate data models - Optimize **query performance** in a Databricks environment - Contribute to the **automation of database testing**, with a focus on analytics rather than traditional DBA tasks - Work closely with stakeholders to support testing around **Appian workflows**, with awareness that Appian knowledge is a plus but not mandatory **Qualifications** Required Skills**: - 5-6 years of relevant experience in QA, with a strong focus on **Databricks** - Proficiency in **Python** and **Selenium** for test automation - Solid understanding of **data analytics** and **query optimization** - Experience working in QA or engineering teams focused on **data models** and **database tools** - Comfortable working in a fast-paced environment with high delivery demands **Nice to Have**: - Background in **database consulting or data architecture** **What You Are Not**: This is not a traditional DBA role.
