Snowflake is rapidly expanding its Systems Integrator (SI) Go-To-Market initiatives. SIs are key to helping customers unlock the power of Snowflake Data Cloud. Success in this role requires relationship management, program execution, goal-setting, and tracking progress. The candidate will help shape and deliver a strategy to build mindshare with Snowflake’s SI partners. We seek a candidate with a proven track record of working with large SI partners, strong business acumen, and knowledge of the broader platform ecosystem, products, and competition to be a trusted advisor. The role requires up to 30% travel within South America for partner engagement, enablement, deal support, and marketing events. AS A SENIOR SOLUTIONS ENGINEER - SI PARTNERS, YOU WILL: - Help Solution Providers/Practice Leads with the technical strategies that enable them to sell their offerings on Snowflake. - Engage in forward strategic thinking — quickly grasp the essence of new concepts and business value messaging. - Develop a strong understanding of how SI partners generate revenue through industry priorities and challenges, and influence where Snowflake products can have the most impact for their offerings. - Help develop and launch joint differentiated solution offerings with SI Partners. - Conduct conversations with other technologists, including delivering presentations at the C-level. OUR IDEAL SENIOR SOLUTIONS ENGINEER - SI PARTNERS WILL HAVE: - Deep technical product and architectural expertise, including the latest product capabilities, within our Partner Solution Architect community. - Experience collaborating with partners to develop Snowflake solutions in customer engagements, creating assets and demos, building hands-on POCs, and pitching Snowflake solutions. - Production-level expertise in developing and deploying PySpark, Scala, and SQL to build ELT/data pipelines into production environments, staying current with the latest Spark updates and best practices. - Hands-on experience designing and building scalable data pipelines using Spark and Kafka for data ingestion from various systems. - Experience with integration platforms such as Matillion, FiveTran, Informatica, dbtCloud, etc. - Knowledge of database technologies. - Experience with DevOps and CI/CD tools like Azure DevOps, Jenkins, AWS CodePipeline, Google Cloud Build. - Strong experience with major cloud platforms, especially Azure, AWS, or Google Cloud. - Experience with Big Data or Cloud integration technologies such as AWS Glue, Azure Data Factory, AWS Lambda, etc. - Experience with AI/ML use cases is a plus. - At least 5 years of industry experience designing, building, and supporting large-scale production systems. - Passion for improving developer experiences; experience in Developer Platforms or Developer Productivity is a plus. - Strong fundamentals in CS, including data structures, algorithms, and distributed systems. - Fluency in multiple programming languages is a plus. - Knowledge of database internals is a plus. - Experience working cross-functionally with teams and product managers. - BS/MS/PhD in Computer Science or related fields. - Excellent communication skills in English, both verbal and written.
