The company has a strong LATAM reputation and presence with a large office in Colombia. We are looking for an experienced and talented Accounting Manager with strong knowledge of Colombian accounting and tax regulations who will oversee financial operations and ensure compliance with all local fiscal requirements. This is a key role responsible for managing the accounting function, supervising internal processes, and coordinating audits and reporting activities. Key Tasks & Accountabilities Oversee all accounting operations including general ledger, accounts payable and financial reporting Manage the accounting team and promote professional development within the department Coordinate monthly, quarterly, and annual closing procedures in line with both local and international accounting standards (e.g., IFRS, US GAAP) Ensure full compliance with DIAN () and SHD () regulations and Colombian tax law Lead the preparation and submission of the report. Prepare and file corporate taxes, IVA, withholding tax (Renta – IVA - ICA), and other statutory obligations alone or with the assistance of PWC where required Lead the preparation and submission of national and district exogenous information reports. Liaise with external auditors, tax advisors, and government authorities as needed Understanding of payroll in accordance with Colombian labor laws and social security requirements Monitor and implement changes in tax legislation to ensure proactive compliance Demonstrated knowledge of transfer pricing treatment , including the analysis and documentation of intercompany transactions in compliance with Colombian tax regulations and OECD guidelines Support budgeting, forecasting, and strategic financial planning initiatives General understanding and proper treatment of recognition of revenue Ability to assess and apply appropriate pricing methodologies, prepare supporting documentation, and manage risks associated with cross-border operations Ability to participate in the planning and development of accounting process workflows to improve efficiency and accuracy Proven experience in collaborating across internal departments and engaging with external stakeholders to exchange financial and operational information Academic & Professional Qualifications Bachelor’s degree or higher in Accounting, Finance, or related field Certified Public Accountant (CPA) or Colombian equivalent Proven experience in accounting and tax in Colombia (minimum 5-7 years preferred) Minimum of 5 years' experience in similar roles with people management responsibilities In-depth knowledge of Colombian tax code, including experience with DIAN reporting and compliance Familiarity with accounting software and ERP systems (e.g., NetSuite, Oracle, Workday) Skills Strong analytical and communication skills Able to work in a fast-paced, self-directed entrepreneurial environment.
