The Role: You will be responsible for preparing and cooking baked goods, such as bread, pastries and other sweet treats. You will also ensure that the quality and presentation of these products in the kitchen meet Four Seasons' standards. Your Responsibilities: • Manage operational supplies and reduce excessive waste and deterioration. • Coordinate daily stock of operational supplements, submitting orders to your supervisor. • Inspect ingredients to ensure they are in optimal condition for consumption or good condition for kitchen service. • Perform mise en place/production tasks in the bakery area. • Maintain anticipation and quality requirements for your mise en place prior to food service. • Ensure that mise en place is organized and fully covers operation demands. • Maintain consistency in food and beverage preparations according to Four Seasons' norms. Requirements: • Culinary technician or equivalent experience as a cook for 3 years. • 2-year experience as a cook in the pastry department. • Desired 1 year of experience in supervisory roles in the pastry department • Minimum 1 year experience supporting events in the pastry and bakery areas. • Knowledge in preparing mixtures on medium volumes. • Advanced knowledge in techniques: o Pastry laminations o Yeast breads o Traditional baking o Modern baking We Offer: • Competitive salary • Indefinite contract • Excellent training and development opportunities • Free accommodation at other Four Seasons hotels and resorts • Free laundry service for employee uniforms • Free meals for employees
