We are seeking a top candidate to join our team as IT Asset Management Technician . Compensation: COP 4.9M - 5.55M/month. Location: El Poblado, Medellín, Antioquia, Colombia. Responsibilities and more: Job Summary: We are looking for an IT Asset Management Technician to maintain and update the company's IT inventory, ensuring efficient hardware and software management to optimize costs. The ideal candidate will be responsible for auditing processes, generating inventory reports, managing software licenses and contracts, and coordinating equipment purchases. Additionally, this role involves optimizing workflows through standardized documentation. Responsibilities: Maintain and update the IT asset inventory (hardware and software). Conduct regular audits to ensure accuracy and compliance. Generate and analyze inventory reports to identify trends and cost-saving -opportunities. Manage software licenses and contracts, ensuring compliance with company policies. Coordinate the procurement and deployment of IT equipment. Work with various departments to optimize asset management workflows. Document asset management processes and policies for consistency. Requirements Proven experience in IT asset management. Strong analytical skills to identify trends and improve efficiency. Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word) and Office 365. Familiarity with inventory management tools. Strong attention to detail and ability to work in a dynamic environment. Preferred Qualifications (Nice to Have): Experience with Asset Explorer or similar IT asset management software.
