Position: Deputy Program Manager (dPM) - Flagship Government Program We seek an experienced Deputy Program Manager to support a high-profile government initiative. Reporting to the Program Manager, the dPM will ensure successful execution of cost, schedule, and performance goals under a cost-plus award fee contract. The role involves liaising with Contracting Officers, Government Program Managers, technical representatives, and contractor leadership. The dPM will handle areas including cost management, schedule tracking, contractor oversight, risk management, requirements analysis, quality assurance, and reporting. The ideal candidate will demonstrate strong leadership and communication skills to facilitate collaboration among stakeholders. Key Responsibilities Program Execution & Performance Management Oversee cost, schedule, and technical performance. Identify issues and implement improvement plans. Document accomplishments for performance assessments. Deliver presentations and reviews to stakeholders. Stakeholder Coordination & Team Support Serve as primary interface with government and contractor leadership. Coordinate with HR, Security, Finance, and Contracts teams. Lead staffing, including recruiting, interviews, negotiations, and onboarding. Support team morale and recognition initiatives. Financial & Contract Management Review financial reports and oversee contract compliance. Negotiate contract and subcontract documentation. Manage ITAR compliance and reporting. Operational & Logistics Oversight Coordinate travel logistics. Manage procurement requirements and approvals. Qualifications Experience: Minimum 5 years managing complex programs; 1+ year managing funds with complex mechanisms; experience with multi-vendor contracts. Knowledge: Familiarity with FAR, DFARS, DoD 5000, ICD 801; compliance review experience. Skills: Excellent communication; financial analysis; risk and performance management. Certifications Project Management Professional (PMP), FAC-P/PM Mid-Level, or DAWIA Level 2 in Program Management.
