Job Title: Collections Specialist About the Job: As a Collections Specialist, you will be responsible for managing a portfolio of key customer accounts to facilitate the recovery of outstanding debts from corporations and companies. This role requires excellent communication and negotiation skills, as well as the ability to work independently with minimal supervision. - Key Responsibilities: - Manage a portfolio of key customer accounts to ensure timely payments and maintain positive relationships. - Review exclusion proposals, issue dunning notices, and initiate service suspension or termination based on customer activity. - Communicate with customers via phone and email to gather remittance details, reconcile payment discrepancies, and request corrective actions. - Identify unapplied payments and recommend adjustments or refunds as necessary. - Partner with billing teams and internal stakeholders to resolve customer-related issues impacting invoice settlement. - Provide support to team members when needed and contribute to overall collection efforts in alignment with defined KPIs and SLAs. - Analyze variances in KPIs on a monthly basis and propose continuous improvement opportunities to enhance efficiency. Requirements: To be successful in this role, you must have: - 3-5 years of experience: In business-to-business (B2B) collections and/or customer service in a dynamic, high-volume environment. - International experience: Working in international business or shared service center environments is highly desirable. - Excellent analytical capabilities: With attention to accuracy and detail. - Strong communication and negotiation skills: To effectively communicate with customers and negotiate resolutions. - Organized and able to manage tasks: With minimal supervision.
