MEDELLIN OFFICE MANAGER

40.000.000 - 80.000.000

About the Role: We are seeking a proactive and versatile Medellin Office Manager to oversee and manage all aspects of our growing operations in Colombia. Based in our Medellín office, this individual will play a key role in scaling a vibrant, high-performing team (currently ~15 people), building out core office functions, and serving as a bridge between Colombia and U.S. operations. This role is ideal for a strategic, people-focused operator who thrives in fast-paced environments and enjoys building systems and culture from the ground up. Key Responsibilities: People and Office Operations: Lead the daily operations of the Medellín office, ensuring efficiency, coordination, and a strong team culture as the office scales. Own employee onboarding and offboarding, performance processes, and team engagement initiatives. Be a go-to resource for local team members and a champion of company culture, values, and communication. Ensure compliance with Colombian labor laws and internal HR policies. Recruitment & Talent Support: Partner with hiring managers to support recruitment for the Colombia office, including sourcing, scheduling, and candidate experience. Support U.S. recruitment processes, especially when roles require cross-office collaboration. Logistics & Office Management: Manage day-to-day office logistics including facilities, vendors, supplies, and workspace needs. Support team travel coordination, events, and other operational logistics that contribute to team productivity and morale. Cross-Border Collaboration: Serve as the primary point of contact between the Colombia team and U.S.-based leadership, helping align goals and drive cross-border collaboration. Provide operational support to U.S. teams as needed, particularly in areas that benefit from centralized coordination (e.g., onboarding, compliance, or admin processes). Help ensure consistency in company policies, culture, and employee experience across regions. Compliance & Administration: Ensure compliance with Colombian labor laws, manage office policies, and maintain accurate personnel and operational records. Support U.S. operations with administrative and compliance-related tasks as needed. Office & Resource Management: Manage vendor relationships, office supplies, and facilities to ensure an efficient and well-supported workplace. Monitor budgets and resource allocation for the Colombia office. Qualifications: 5+ years of experience in operations, office management, HR/people ops, or a related field — ideally in a scaling or international environment. Strong leadership and organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities, build systems, and lead a small but growing team. Experience with HR processes such as onboarding, employee engagement, compliance, and performance support. Proven ability to manage office logistics — from facilities and vendors to internal coordination and team events. Excellent communication skills in both English and Spanish, with the ability to collaborate across regions and time zones. Proactive problem-solver with a self-starter mindset and comfort working in a fast-paced, dynamic environment. Familiarity with Colombian labor laws and employment practices is a strong plus. Prior experience supporting or working closely with U.S.-based teams is a bonus. Application Instructions: Complete the application form in English and submit your resume in English. Any responses in Spanish will NOT be considered. #J-18808-Ljbffr
