Software (SWA) comprises the definition, specification, and allocation of requirements from different sources utilizing knowledge of systems engineering processes (specification & architecture). It includes processing use case and feature requirements into conceptual models, operational scenarios, technical requirements, and functional descriptions. The role covers the specification, design, implementation, and unit testing of software (e.g., device drivers, microcode, hardware-related software & firmware) according to the requirements and architecture defined in the systems engineering process. It also involves establishing and maintaining Software Configuration Management (SCM) practices within software development projects, continuously building and integrating infrastructure tools and systems. - Experience in customizing, deploying, & integrating software with Nokia Core products. - Responsible for project KPI tracking and ensuring quality delivery to customers. - Managing internal & external stakeholders with solutions from multiple sources and technologies. - Creating implementation plans for site integration, delivery, and technical infrastructure documentation. - Gathering customer requirements, analysis, feature specification, and feasibility studies. - Contributing to migration procedures & documenting knowledge in tools like Share Point, Confluence, GIT, etc. - Working autonomously in a mixed environment, applying best practices and knowledge of internal/external business issues to improve products or services. - Coordinating with team members and resolving conflicts within the team. - Serving as an individual contributor, providing ideas for professional development, and mentoring team members. - Managing technical delivery from subcontractors and addressing their daily technical needs. - Bachelor's or master's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or related fields. - Domain knowledge of core Nokia products. - Over 9 years of extensive experience in leading and managing software projects from development to delivery and support. - Knowledge of software services delivery and care support. - Knowledge of Kubernetes, Python/Java, and Linux is advantageous. - Expertise in REST APIs, microservices, and microservice-based architecture. - Experience with containerization using Docker and Kubernetes, Kafka, and message broker architecture. - Experience with data visualization & exploration tools like Open Search, Victoria Metrics, & Grafana; good database management knowledge (PostgreSQL, MySQL/MariaDB). - Fluent in English and Spanish. Preferred additional skills: - Understanding of Java VM operation and its relation to Linux OS. - Good knowledge of web servers like Tomcat, Web Sphere, JBoss. - Knowledge of network data security, VPN connectivity, and IPSEC.
