**Key Responsibilities**: Sales Strategy & Execution: - Develop and implement a comprehensive sales strategy that aligns with the company’s growthobjectives. - Identify and pursue new business opportunities in target markets, including startups, corporateoffices, co-working spaces, and design firms. - Build and manage a high-performing sales team, including recruiting, training, and mentoringsales representatives. - Establish strong relationships with key customers, architects, and designers to drive businessdevelopment. - Set and monitor sales targets, ensuring the team consistently meets or exceeds goals.Operational Leadership: - Oversee the end-to-end operations process, including quoting, placing orders, projectinstallation, order fulfillment, and logistics. - Implement operational systems and processes to scale the business efficiently as it grows. - Coordinate with suppliers and manufacturers to ensure product quality and timely delivery. - Manage relationships with third-party logistics providers and negotiate contracts to optimizecosts and service levels. - Develop and monitor key operational metrics, such as order accuracy, delivery times, andcustomer satisfaction. - Ensure compliance with all relevant regulations and safety standards.Customer Experience & Retention: - Drive a customer-centric culture by ensuring that every interaction with the company deliversexceptional service. - Handle escalated customer issues, ensuring quick and satisfactory resolutions. - Gather and analyze customer feedback to identify areas for improvement in products, services,and processes. - Develop strategies to increase customer retention and loyalty, including follow-upcommunications and repeat business incentives. Startup Growth & Scalability: - Work closely with the CEO to develop and execute the company’s growth strategy. - Contribute to product development by providing insights from the market and customerfeedback. - Identify and implement new technologies and tools that can enhance sales efficiency andoperational effectiveness. - Manage budgets and allocate resources effectively to support the company’s growth goals.Team Building & Leadership: - Foster a collaborative and dynamic team environment that encourages innovation and highperformance. - Conduct regular performance reviews, provide constructive feedback, and create professionaldevelopment plans for team members. - Lead by example, demonstrating a strong work ethic, commitment to quality, and a passion forcustomer success.Key Performance Indicators (KPIs): - Sales revenue and growth rate - Customer acquisition and retention rates - Operational efficiency (e.g., order fulfillment times, inventory turnover) - Profit margins and cost management - Customer satisfaction scores **Qualifications**: - Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Marketing, Operations, or a related field; MBA orequivalent experience preferred. - 5+ years of experience in sales and operations management, with a focus on the furniture industry,with a strong emphasis on government sales. - Proven success in a startup or high-growth environment, with experience scaling a business fromthe ground up. - Proven track record of exceeding sales targets and achieving revenue growth - Strong leadership skills with the ability to inspire and motivate a team. - Strong knowledge of GSA Schedules and other government contracting vehicles - Deep understanding of government procurement processes, including RFPs, RFQs, and contractnegotiation - Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills. - Strategic thinker with strong analytical and problem-solving abilities. - Proficiency in Slack, CRM software, Google/Microsoft Office Suite. - Ability to adapt to changing priorities and thrive in a fast-paced environment.
