Sourcing Quality Lead This role can be based in Lima, Peru or Santiago, Chile within our Supply Chain Business. You will be responsible for building and managing supplier relationships, verifying technical and quality standards in accordance with Community Minerals requirements. The Sourcing Quality Lead and their team will manage supplier capability assessments, quality audits, and incoming goods inspections. You will qualify new suppliers and drive continuous improvement initiatives. Additionally, you will establish and maintain an audit schedule to monitor supplier performance through relevant metrics. Key Responsibilities - Building and managing supplier relationships. - Verifying technical and quality standards in accordance with Community Minerals requirements. - Managing supplier capability assessments, quality audits, and incoming goods inspections. - Qualifying new suppliers. - Driving continuous improvement initiatives. - Establishing and maintaining an audit schedule to monitor supplier performance. Requirements - Relevant tertiary education in sourcing, procurement, engineering, or extensive experience sourcing products in heavy industrial or foundry environments. - 5-10 years of post-graduate related experience and/or training, or an equivalent combination of education and experience. - Experience managing a team of quality engineers and inspectors. - Experience managing suppliers and subcontractors in heavy manufacturing environments. - Knowledge of foundry or heavy industrial manufacturing processes. - Strong analytical skills and attention to detail to solve quality-related issues. - Ability to read and interpret engineering documents such as drawings, specifications, and CAD models. - Ability to manage budgets and understand financial reports. - Willingness to travel domestically and internationally. - Bilingual in English and Spanish (written and spoken).
