JOB DESCRIPTION Contáctica is seeking a Lead Developer with 8–10 years of experience in web development and infrastructure, including at least 5 years leading technical teams or complex projects. This strategic, hands-on role combines advanced technical expertise, team leadership, and long-term product vision to design, develop, and deliver robust, secure, and scalable technology solutions. You will drive the creation of proprietary tools integrated with third-party services such as APIs, CRMs, and automation platforms, improving efficiency and fostering technical innovation. The ideal candidate demonstrates mastery of modern web technologies (HTML, CSS, JavaScript frameworks, PHP, MySQL, WordPress) as well as strong knowledge of infrastructure and DevOps practices (servers, DNS, Apache/Nginx, Azure). As a key member of the leadership team, you will mentor developers, enforce best practices, and collaborate closely with analytics, media, design, and commercial teams to translate business needs into impactful technology solutions — always with a strategic, client-focused mindset. KEY RESPONSIBILITIES - Lead the design, development, and deployment of efficient, secure, and scalable technology solutions. - Supervise and mentor the development team, fostering technical growth, collaboration, and adoption of best practices in coding, architecture, and documentation. - Translate business and client requirements into viable technical solutions aligned with project and business goals. - Manage deployments in production environments (VPS, cloud platforms like Azure, serverless), ensuring stability, performance, and scalability. - Design and build proprietary tools integrated with third-party services, creating reusable and adaptable solutions that meet business needs. - Manage complex integrations with APIs and external platforms (e.g., Salesforce, automation tools like Zapier, Make, n8n). - Administer and maintain critical technology infrastructure: servers, DNS, Apache/Nginx, and cloud services. - Identify opportunities for innovation and propose scalable, sustainable solutions that strengthen the company’s product offering. - Enforce high standards of secure development, applying OWASP principles and using vulnerability scanning tools. - Collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams (analytics, media, design, commercial) to deliver integrated, results-driven solutions. - Promote technical documentation, knowledge sharing, and continuous improvement within the team. - Act as a mentor and role model, fostering professional and technical development across the team. - Contribute to the company’s technology vision and provide strategic input into the development of digital products and services.
