Platform Management Specialist III (Microsoft Specialist) We are seeking a skilled and experienced Microsoft Licensing, Administration, and Security Engineer to join our Platform Management Team. The ideal candidate will have a strong foundation in managing Microsoft licensing, administering Microsoft technologies, securing IT environments, and expertise in Active Directory. This role is essential for ensuring compliance, streamlining operations, and fortifying security measures across our IT infrastructure. The successful candidate will bring 5+ years of experience in managing and securing Microsoft platforms and technologies. Key Responsibilities: Microsoft Licensing and Administration: Manage and optimize Microsoft licensing agreements, ensuring compliance with licensing terms. Administer Microsoft platforms, including Office 365, Azure AD, and Windows Server. Monitor license usage, analyze requirements, and recommend cost-effective solutions. Oversee the management of Microsoft Security Entra , Intune , and identity features. Security and Compliance: Implement and maintain security protocols for Microsoft environments in collaboration with cross-functional teams. Continuously monitor Microsoft environment behavior and performance to identify and resolve any security risks. Collaborate with IT teams to ensure compliance with industry security standards and best practices. Active Directory Administration: Manage and support Active Directory (AD) environments, including users, groups, and policies (GPO). Ensure AD infrastructure stability, security, and performance, supporting key integrations like Single Sign-On (SSO). Develop and enforce best practices for Active Directory management and security. Technical Support and Troubleshooting: Diagnose and resolve issues related to Microsoft technologies and Active Directory. Provide technical guidance to internal teams for integrating, managing, and troubleshooting Microsoft products and services. Assist in streamlining operational workflows by addressing technical challenges efficiently. Documentation: Maintain detailed and up-to-date documentation for licensing, security configurations, and administrative procedures. Create training materials and deliver training sessions for team members on best practices for Microsoft product usage and security measures. Qualifications & Experience: 5+ years of hands-on experience in Microsoft licensing management , administration, and Active Directory management . Proven experience with Microsoft licensing management programs (e.g., Enterprise Agreement, CSP). Strong proficiency in administering and securing Microsoft technologies such as Office 365, Azure AD, Windows Server , MS Docker , and SaaS solutions. In-depth experience with Microsoft security frameworks , including Microsoft Security Entra and Intune . Extensive background in Active Directory (AD) environments, including the management of users, groups, policies (GPO), and supporting infrastructure. Hands-on experience with identity management solutions (e.g., MFA, SSO). Certifications such as AZ-104 , AZ-500 , or equivalent are highly desirable. Technical Skills: Strong understanding of Microsoft security tools and identity management solutions. Expertise in troubleshooting Microsoft technologies and resolving system issues. Ability to manage and secure cloud-based Microsoft environments (e.g., Office 365, Azure). Familiarity with integrating third-party security tools and managing risk in Microsoft environments. Languages: Proficiency in English and Spanish (B2 level or higher) is required. Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to communicate effectively across teams.
