We are Neumann Kaffee Gruppe. And we love coffee. For us at Neumann Kaffee Gruppe (NKG), everything revolves around coffee. As a globally active green coffee service group, our more than 3,200 employees in over 26 countries work with dedication for and with green coffee, which is always the focus of our services along the entire coffee supply chain. Our fields of work are just as diverse as our employees and we are proud to live this diversity. Becamo was founded by Emilio R. Medina in 1983 as “Bodega Montecristo” in Santa Rosa de Copán, to serve Honduras’ growing coffee industry. During the following years, the company became a distinctive representative of Honduras and Central America's quality coffee bean. With a trajectory of professional growth, in 1989 Becamo joined as a member of Neumann Kaffee Gruppe (NKG) and evolved by adopting an international vision. After becoming the main recipient of parchment coffee in Copán, the operations were expanded to San Pedro Sula, Tegucigalpa and other coffee zones. Becamo's expansion was not only territorial, but the company was also simultaneously improving and modernizing the infrastructures and coffee selection technologies. Today, Becamo’s headquarters are located near San Pedro Sula, Honduras’ industrial capital, and has 16 purchase agencies throughout the most important coffee regions.
