3 days ago Be among the first 25 applicants We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Low Voltage Drafter to develop comprehensive and accurate plans for low voltage systems using Bluebeam software. In this role, you will be crucial in translating design specifications into precise technical drawings that guide the installation and implementation of our cutting-edge IT solutions. You will collaborate closely with engineers, project managers, and technicians to ensure all drawings meet industry standards, client requirements, and project timelines. Responsibilities: * Create detailed and accurate low voltage system drawings, including but not limited to: * Structured cabling layouts (voice, data, fiber optics) * Security system schematics (access control, CCTV, intrusion detection) * Audiovisual system diagrams * Wireless network (Wi-Fi) coverage maps * Utilize Bluebeam Revu software extensively for all drafting tasks, including: * Creating, editing, and managing PDF drawings. * Utilizing measurement tools, markups, and quantity takeoffs. * Collaborating on drawings with internal and external stakeholders using Bluebeam Studio. * Creating custom tools and stamps as needed. * Interpret architectural, electrical, and other relevant drawings to integrate low voltage systems seamlessly. * Ensure all drawings comply with relevant codes, standards (e.g., BICSI, NFPA), and client specifications. * Collaborate with engineers and project managers to understand project requirements and design intent. * Incorporate redline markups and feedback efficiently and accurately. * Maintain organized and accessible drawing files and documentation. * Participate in design reviews and provide input on constructability and potential issues. * Stay up-to-date with the latest drafting software features, industry trends, and low voltage technologies. Qualifications: * Associate's degree or equivalent in Drafting, CAD Technology, or a related field. * 2+ years of demonstrable experience as a Drafter, specifically creating plans for low voltage systems. * Expert-level proficiency with Bluebeam Revu software is required. (Please highlight specific experience or certifications if applicable). * Strong understanding of low voltage cabling, infrastructure, and system components. * Familiarity with industry standards and codes relevant to low voltage systems (e.g., BICSI, NFPA 72, NEC). * Ability to read and interpret complex architectural, electrical, and mechanical blueprints. * Excellent attention to detail and accuracy in all drafting work. * Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams. * Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and meet deadlines. * Self-motivated and able to work independently with minimal supervision.
