Job Brief FSO/CSSO manage, oversee all aspects of our industrial security program, (NISPOM), ICD 705 Job Description We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented FSO/CSSO to manage and oversee all aspects of our industrial security program in accordance with the National Industrial Security Program Operating Manual (NISPOM), ICD 705, and other government directives. The ideal candidate will be responsible for maintaining facility clearances, personnel security clearances, and classified information systems, as well as ensuring compliance with all applicable federal regulations and security protocols. RealmOne requires the immediate hiring of a qualified FSO and CSSO to ensure compliance with the National Industrial Security Program Operating Manual (NISPOM) Rule 32CFR, Intelligence Community Directives (ICDs), and other DoD/DSS policies and procedures. This role is critical to maintaining our facility's security program and supporting classified contracts and personnel. Key Responsibilities: Support multiple federal agencies with varying security standards and procedures, utilizing the NISPOM Rule 32 CFR, ICDs, DoDM 5205.07 and other applicable directives, policies and procedures set forth by the DoD and Intelligence Community. Serve as the primary liaison with the Defense Counterintelligence and Security Agency (DCSA) and other government sponsors. Manage and maintain the organization's Facility Clearance (FCL) and personnel clearance (PCL) program in DISS/NBIS. Oversee the implementation and enforcement of NISPOM Rule 32 CFR and ICD requirements. Conduct security briefings, training, and annual refreshers for all cleared personnel. Prepare and maintain documentation related to classified contracts, DD254s, visit requests, and incident reports. Conduct self-inspections and support DCSA assessments. Handle insider threat programs, physical security, and classified storage requirements. Maintain familiarity with tools such as DISS, NISS, e-QIP, and Scattered Castles. Assist with the development, implementation and monitoring of security policies and procedures, including the insider threat program. Provide security indoctrinations, debriefings, pre/post travel briefings and annual refresher briefings as necessary. Assist in managing multiple prime and subcontracts. Establish and maintain the eCPRL for each prime contract. Ensure pre-screening of candidates to mitigate risk to the government, and accurate submission of paperwork and information to the customers. Process SCI nominations for personnel supporting various efforts. Utilize government security systems to process Visit Requests, Periodic Reinvestigations, Foreign Travel Reports, and Security Packages. Investigate security violations and submit required reports to the government. Document and maintain personnel security files and rosters. Establish and maintain successful working relationships with government and internal customers. Act as an advocate for the security program, working with senior managers to accomplish missions. Prepare and update SOPs annually for IC and DoD customers. Qualifications: At least 10 years' experience as a CSSO or FSO. Successful completion of the FSO training (CDSE FSO Curriculum). Completion of the MPO CSSO course. Experience with security databases (DISS, NISS, e-QIP, etc.). Bachelor's degree in a related field is preferred but not required. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Strong organizational skills and attention to detail. Ability to create and deliver engaging presentations or training sessions. Ability to handle sensitive information confidentially. Physical Demands: Must be able to work in a typical office environment. Full-time Monday-Friday in-office at Columbia, MD. Position requires active Security Clearance with appropriate Polygraph Pay Range: 130,000-165,000 The RealmOne pay range is a general guideline only and not a guarantee of compensation.
