Almirante Brion, Cartagena Position Overview A Junior Front Desk Agent is responsible for greeting and registering guests, checking guests out, and ensuring an outstanding guest experience while maintaining hotel profitability. What will I be doing? As a Junior Front Desk Agent, your responsibilities include: - Greeting guests, completing registration, inputting and retrieving information, confirming details, selecting rooms, coding electronic keys, promoting marketing programs, providing welcome packets, and guiding guests to their rooms. - Assisting with check-out procedures, including accounting for rooms and services, handling payments, processing credit/debit cards, converting foreign currency, making change, and processing gift certificates. - Demonstrating knowledge of hotel offerings, including room types, rates, packages, promotions, and local area information, and addressing guest questions. - Using up-selling techniques to promote hotel services and maximize occupancy. - Responding to guest inquiries and resolving issues promptly and courteously. - Handling guest complaints, conducting research, and negotiating solutions for satisfaction. - Receiving, relaying, and managing messages for guests.
