The Financial Planning & Analysis function manages all aspects of management reporting, including budgeting and forecasting, strategic and customer planning. This includes managing and executing corporate reporting and planning requirements. This Senior Analyst position is responsible for a broad spectrum of strategic processes and initiatives while managing and executing the corporate reporting and planning requirements. Role: 1. Support the financial close process through the analysis of variances against budget, forecasts, prior year actuals, key business drivers, and initiatives. Review and provide thoughtful, business-driven commentary to management teams. 2. Support the development of the annual plan/budget and forecast for scheduled cycles. Ensure accurate data upload into Hyperion budgeting and forecasting tools. 3. Manage, develop, and update standardized financial reporting packages that help drive and support the business, including business metrics/KPIs. Identify and communicate revenue risks and opportunities. Respond promptly to ad-hoc information and analysis requests. 4. Support Mastercard strategic plans by providing relevant financial analytics and business insights to key stakeholders, developing robust tracking mechanisms. 5. Apply strategic understanding of business dynamics and competitive forces in different markets to support business strategies. 6. Implement financial process improvements by building and maintaining financial tools for analysis and modeling. Review and suggest improvements to financial systems. 7. Investigate and create opportunities for automation and more efficient methods of analysis and delivery, anticipating stakeholder needs. All About You: - Educational qualification: Chartered Accountant, CPA, or MBA in Finance. - Experience in financial roles with advanced knowledge of financial planning and management. - Proficiency with Business Intelligence tools and financial systems (e.g., Hyperion, Oracle). - Understanding of reporting, forecasting, and budgeting techniques. - Strong analytical and problem-solving skills. - Self-motivated with a proven track record of success in team environments. - Ability to deliver results in a fast-paced environment with accuracy. - Ability to manage multiple activities within tight deadlines. - Excellent communication and presentation skills. - Strong strategic thinking and business understanding. - Relationship management and networking skills. - High intellect, good commercial acumen, and creative problem-solving approach. - Ambitious, driven, and motivated. - Maturity to challenge ideas and assess opportunities and threats.
