As a skilled Software Engineer Associate, you will play a key role in the success of our technology hub in Bogota. Purpose You will contribute to the overall success of the CCA – Core Banking & Integration by executing individual goals, plans, and initiatives in support of business strategies and objectives. Key Accountabilities - You will champion a customer-focused culture to deepen client relationships and leverage broader bank relationships, systems, and knowledge. - You will develop cost-effective and efficient applications to meet business objectives by analyzing user requirements, providing technical specifications, and designing and developing/maintaining programs according to standards. The incumbent must ensure programs and applications developed meet the high availability, integrity, and reliability of the online transaction processing environment. - You will provide production and user acceptance testing support to assigned applications by identifying, evaluating, escalating, resolving problems, and supporting other team members. - Your responsibilities may also include participation in performance monitoring. - You will provide technical guidance and training to less experienced analysts and programmers. - You will understand how the bank's risk appetite and risk culture should be considered in day-to-day activities and decisions. - You will actively pursue effective and efficient operations of your respective areas in accordance with the bank's values, its code of conduct, and the global sales principles, while ensuring the adequacy, adherence to, and effectiveness of day-to-day business controls to meet obligations with respect to operational, compliance, AML/ATF/sanctions, and conduct risk. - You will champion a high-performance environment and contribute to an inclusive work environment. Dimensions You are responsible for supporting the following: - CCA Region - Core Banking systems - Design and development of simple to medium complex enhancements and participation in major/complex enhancements over 500 workdays. - Support multiple applications concurrently to ensure high availability, integrity, and reliability of programs developed. Education / Experience / Other Information - Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science or relevant field. - 1-3 years' experience as a developer. - 1-3 years' experience as an AS400 RPGLE Developer. - Experience with AS/400, RPGLE, Free Format RPG, DB2, SQL, VS Code, BitBucket. - Experience working in an agile development environment (Confluence, Jira, CI/CD pipeline, Scrum/Kanban). - Detail-oriented, team player with an ability to work with minimal direction.
